The average trailer coupler height is in the neighborhood of 16-19 inches. What I'd recommend you do is put the various trailers you tow up on their jack so the frame is level to the ground, and measure their coupler height (see linked article). If none of them are lower than 15 inches, you can go with the 5 inch drop Tow & Stow, part # BWTS10037B. This will leave you about 1 inch taller than the level trailer coupler, but the rear of the truck will squat a little bit with the trailer hitched... view full answer...

If the loaded tongue weight (TW) of your trailer is around 2,300 lbs then any weight distribution (WD) system that is rated for a max of 1,200 lbs TW will not be strong enough to help out at all. Check your TW to ensure that it is 10-15% of the loaded weight of your trailer. If it isn't you need to move stuff around until you achieve the 10-15% area.
If it is already 10-15% of the loaded weight of your trailer then the only WD system that we have that will help is the TorkLift SuperHitch... view full answer...

If you don't have either of these rails, let me know and I'd be happy to help you further. view full answer...
